svartskog Kvit som snøen was not my favourite after the fantastic "Likstadberget". Then this EP comes out of nowhere. And bloody hell the mix of doom and black is fantastic in this one! The vocals are straight out of somewhere DARK!
Favorite track: Slik Lyder Soga Om Folket På Saltsteinen.

Sleeping Villager An excellent five tracks! I generally enjoy black metal most when it breaches the walls of genre convention and adopts a little bit of doom's languid pack. "Slik Lyder..." does just that, with fantastic results. The remainder is quite good as well, with notably vicious vocals and delightfully present drums. Looking forward to writing a review in full! Favorite track: Slik Lyder Soga Om Folket På Saltsteinen.

After two black metal albums, we wanted to play around a bit more with styles and incorporate elements from death metal and doom into the music. This time we even got some help from lyrics writer Synnøve Holdhus, who also is Skuggimaðrs wife.

This ended up in a small album with themes and feelings ranging from old norse mythology into local stories with big losses and struggles from Gossen and the harsh nature surrounding it.
